Stroud & District Div 1.

Tetbury Town 4 Horsley United 1.

TETBURY TOWN dominated this contest from start to finish and thoroughly deserved their victory.

Storming out the blocks, Tetbury played some great football on a very tricky pitch. They were duly rewarded on ten minutes when, after some neat passing and a smart through ball by Dave Law, Jake Sharpe fired a shot into the top corner from 20 yards.

Tetbury continued to dominate the half but couldn’t find the finishing touch that their football deserved.

Howeever, Tetbury finished the game as a contest within the first 15 minutes of the second half, with three goals inside five minutes from Phil Hall, Jake Sharpe and Dave Law.

MoM: Tom Bond, for a dominating but calming performance at centre back.
