Gud Chances.

I’VE BEEN having a bit of a rest lately but I am back on the gallops enjoying pulling the girls’ arms out, especially my loyal keeper Tori Knight. Next stop the racecourse!

A quick update on my stablemates; we’ve had a good week with two winners, Farmer Matt with Paddy Brennan at Exeter and Dark Energy at Market Rasen with Conor Shoemark, who I must congratulate on his first winner.

The yard has already surpassed last season’s grand total of 11 winners and is currently on 13. Here are a few stable runners to look out for: Today (Thursday) Well Mett travels to Taunton while Dark Energy heads to Ludlow for an amateur’ race with Conor. Silver Roque schooled well earlier in the week and will be out at Cheltenham tomorrow for the big Open Meeting, while Young Mags and Ambrose Princess are in the Conditional Jockeys’ Hurdle on the same day. Lastly, Bradley is in Saturday’s Handicap Chase at Cheltenham where he was fourth back in October.

Join the Cheltenham Crowd (& the Champ).

WITH three days of racing magic, 80 trade stands in the Shopping Village and a great atmosphere in the grandstand, Cheltenham Racecourse hosts its Open Meeting – the must-go-to event this weekend. You can even join the champ, AP McCoy, after racing, as he will be hosting the ‘After Party’ in the popular Outside Chance bar. Take the chance to rub hooves with racing’s VIPs where it’s free entry before the end of racing and £10 thereafter.

Commanding Attention.

MY JOCKEY mate @PaddyBrennan22 has been tweeting about his happiness after galloping Imperial Commander at Towcester, stating that the horse’s class is still firmly intact. Paddy is really looking forward to the Betfair Chase at Haydock Park in ten days’ time, where former Gold Cup winner Imperial will make his reappearance after 18 months off.

Jockeys show off their Gangnam Style.

YOU may have seen the international phenomenon Gangnam Style from South Korean singer PSY, but if not, don’t worry – just watch #JockeyStyle on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cEM2uQW477I instead.

Brought to you from the Weighing Room and starring five professional jump jockeys (David Crosse, Colin Bolger, Sam Jones, Charlie Huxley and Gerard Tumelty) all singing ‘Heyyyy sexy horsey!’ It truly is a great watch.

Ten to Follow Team.

OUR team had a 100 per cent record with three wins until poor Mr Mole got beaten into second at Wincanton last Saturday. Make sure you look out for the team members this weekend at Cheltenham. Hunt Ball and For Non Stop are set for the Paddy Power Gold Cup on Saturday and Fingal Bay could run on Friday in the Novices’ Chase.
