Jake Sharpe scores with goal-of-the-season contender

Tetbury Town 5 King's Stanley Res 2.
TETBURY were in cracking form on Saturday as they dismissed King’s Stanley 5-2.
Tetbury made an early impact on the scoresheet when Phil Hall converted a penalty within the first five minutes. They went further in front when Jake Sharpe released Ben Lloyd, who fired past the onrushing keeper.
King's Stanley scored two goals from set pieces either side of Ricky Seal scoring a superbly-worked team goal involving Dave Law and Scott Seal, so the score at the break was 3-2.
In the second half, Tetbury were indebted to James King for a superb save. They then came close on several occasions before Jake Sharpe crashed a 40-yard free kick in off the upright – a goal-of-the-season contender.
Town scored their fifth when Phil Hall’s dummy allowed Ant Hillman to finish from the edge of the box.
MoM: Ricky Seal and Jake Sharpe.
