In-form Bibury continue their good run
6:39pm Monday 22nd October 2012 in Sport
Cheltenham League Div 1.
Falcons 0 Bibury 4.
BIBURY comfortably won the battle of two teams who had made a good start to the season.
Falcons started strongly and sent a couple of shots wide of the target before Bibury created their first chance.
But it was Bibury who took the lead when a good ball from Kanne Outram found James Keylock, who fired home.
The second goal for Bibury was the best goal of the game. Passed out from the back, Ash Rockley then played a quick one-two with Darren Parker and slipped the ball into the path of Keylock, who scored his second goal of the match.
Falcons looked to get back in the game in the second half but they found Bibury keeper Steve Luce in fine form.
Bibury added a third goal when Rockley mesmerised four defenders before firing past the keeper.
Falcons almost pulled a goal back with a header from a corner which hit the bar, but it was Bibury who scored again through Rockley to complete a fine win.
MoM: Steve Luce.
