LAST year's Corinium Radio broadcast was the most popular in the station's three-year history but organisers are keen to set new highs when they take to the air next month.
The station broadcasts in Cirencester twice a year in the spring and autumn and is wholly run by a team of hard-working volunteers.
Corinium Radio offers a unique and powerful way of keeping in touch with the local community and the station is currently looking for sponsors for its next show on June 14 and 15.
Manager of the Cirencester branch of Cheltenham & Gloucester Jenny Marshall said: "It was the perfect opportunity to get ourselves into the community. We will definitely be more involved with future broadcasts and it is great that everything to do with the broadcast is from volunteers with little or no radio experience."
Odd Bins off licence in Castle Street sponsored last November's broadcast and recorded a wine-tasting session in the shop.
Manager Roger Reid made sure his shop radio wad tuned into 87.7fm so customers could hear his show.
Corinium Radio is open for anyone to get involved in making programmes or raising funds.
If you would like to discuss sponsorship deals for the next Corinium Radio broadcast or would like more details about the radio station call Geoff Carr on 07719 896039.
