ORGANISERS of Corinium Radio's weekend broadcast say it was the most successful in its two-year history.
More listeners than ever sent emails and texts or called the station, which broadcast on 87.7FM.
Corinium Radio is a not-for-profit community station run by local volunteers that goes on the airwaves twice a year, once in the autumn and again in the spring.
Plans are already afoot for its next schedule.
Corinium Radio spokesman Geoff Carr said: "The station is for the community by the community. Anyone can get involved in making programmes.
"Last weekend's broadcast saw a varied and rich mix of local people expressing their ideas, views, talents and interests."
Anyone who wants to get involved with the next broadcast of Corinium Radio should attend an open meeting at the Cotswold District Council offices in Trinity Road, Cirencester, on Wednesday, December 5 at 6.45pm.
