BREAD mania infected Year 6 children from Swell Primary School after a recent visit to the Farmers Market in Stow-on-the-Wold.
While at the market the children admired the range of breads on a stall run by Norths Bakery and they quizzed the master baker during their visit.
Full of ideas, the children returned to school and have made a bread basket filled with a selection of breads to be displayed at the School Harvest Festival, which was held at St. Mary’s Church, Lower Swell on Friday.
The food donations from the Harvest Festival will be donated to the local food bank.
