Penalise selfish drivers - those who cheat and park in disabled bays

I WOULD like to make a suggestion for raising money to swell the Parking Enforcement Coffers.

If every able-bodied person were to be fined for parking in spaces reserved for disabled drivers, there would be no need to over-penalise the rest of us.

So often I see perfectly fit people abusing these spaces.

If the spaces were regularly patrolled on both private and public land, and stiff fines imposed, as in Germany, these parking companies would soon move into profit from what I see in Cirencester and Stroud.

A memorable notice in all disabled parking bays at a car park in France reads: "Take my space, take my handicap".
