Cirencester - what a disgrace!

AS SOMEONE who was born in and always lived in Cirencester all my life, I would like to know what has happened to my town? What a disgrace it has become. Grass verges don’t get cut, brambles grow through the railings over the foot bridges, litter everywhere, and as for the state of the roundabouts all around and on the approach to the town.

I thought we were supposed to be the capital of the Cotswolds. When you visit other towns, ie Tetbury, you are greeted with flowers and well tended roundabouts, which make it a pleasure to see. There is long grass at road junctions, which block motorists' view, hedges grown across pavements, so pedestrians have to step out into the road. When is it going to be tidied up so that we can be proud of our town?
