Nursing home staff are fantastic

IN THE early hours of Wednesday, June 6, my lovely Mum, Connie Moulton passed away. For the last ten months Mum had been living at The Priory Nursing Home in Tetbury, having moved there after my husband Ken had had a heart attack. Mum loved it at The Priory, she spent hours tending the garden, making things for the special events they had and made friends with other residents and staff. We had a wonderful Christmas, Mothers' Day and Easter there, the staff goes to great lengths to make sure everyone has a good time and all the family are welcome. Father Christmas brings presents for all the residents and everyone gets an Easter egg, there is always something going on - never a dull moment.

All the staff at The Priory are fantastic and go that extra mile, nothing is too much trouble. They all looked after Mum so well, showering her with love and attention especially in those last few weeks of her life. They looked after all the family too, making sure we ate, drank plenty of tea and went home to rest. At the end so many of them came to Mum's room to say goodbye and took time out of their busy day to console my brother, daughter, husband and I.

I know all my family would want to say a HUGE thank you to all the wonderful staff at The Priory Nursing Home, they are second to none. Your kindness will never be forgotten.
