MY WIFE and I are keen walkers and enjoy our walks in the beautiful countryside in the Stratton area and beyond.

Unfortunately on several occasions we have noticed a blot on the landscape as it were. Why do dog walkers have to do the right thing in picking up their dog mess and then spoil their good intentions by tossing their little full plastic bags into the branches of trees, like baubles on a Christmas tree, or leaving the bag at the bottom of a stile. It’s just another form of fly tipping. This practice really does spoil the lovely scenery which abounds in this area.
