HAVING experienced my first chimney fire ever I would like to thank the Cirencester Fire Brigade for the excellent way they carried out the job.
I’ve been told that in the past when people had a chimney fire there was a big mess to clean up afterwards depending on what fire you had.
In our case it was sheets down to protect the carpet, hosepipe attached to rods to go up the flue to extinguish the fire, tidy up, fitted two more fire alarms free then on their way.
