WHILE I do not particularly care for the Cornflower Blue of The Fleece hotel in Cirencester, I certainly don’t find it as offensive as the comments made by Roston Gay.

Ignoring the rude, and cheap jibes, surely the best measure of a hotel is the quality of the product?

We recently had lunch with our dog in attendance, on a busy Saturday lunch time, and were delighted by both the quality of food, and the attentive service.

The management go out of their way to make dogs welcome, and should be recognised for this along with their investment in our town.

Recent refurbishments of other hotels, and pubs in town seem to focus more on the 'cosmetics,' than the level service provided - well done The Fleece!
