PLEASE may I thank all those who supported the Vintage Tea Party in the Abbey Grounds on Sunday, June 25.
This event was organised by the Soroptimist Club of Cirencester and District as part of the Abbey 900 Festival and, thanks to the support of the public, we raised over £600 towards the recent display of medieval manuscripts in the Corinium Museum.
A special thank you should go to the group who picnicked in the Abbey Grounds on the same day, organised by David Gardner. They took a separate collection for us which added over £50 to our total.
With the music of the Gloucester Band, everything contributed to a great Sunday afternoon in Cirencester.
