A QUEEN’S Speech from which the ‘ruling’ party has omitted key Manifesto promises, amounts to a further example of Mrs May’s readiness to abuse power.

First, she sought to prevent Parliament from playing a role in the Brexit discussions – remember those ‘enemies of the people,’ the judges she pointedly failed to defend against media intimidation when they dared to uphold the law.

Then she turned on Her Majesty’s Loyal Opposition, who she deemed ‘saboteurs’ for daring to consider scrutinising her policies in the manner which is the esteemed and venerable role of the Opposition.

Now, she is saying to those who voted for her on June 8 – those Manifesto pledges on the basis of which you voted me in – they are broken.

Mrs May is a danger to our country, pure and simple. She has no principles, no commitment to parliamentary democracy, and no credibility as a leader.

She deserves to fall quickly, unceremoniously, and without even modest thanks for her disastrous premiership.
