READER'S LETTER: Cirencester's new mayor
MANY congratulations must go to Nigel Robbins on becoming the new Cirencester mayor. It is well deserved and he is a top bloke!
However I must take issue with the comment attributed to him in your article “New mayor sets out aims” [The Standard, May 18] where he is quoted as saying “We will have to find some ways to mitigate some of the impact of the housing development at Chesterton..."
Surely you meant to say “proposed housing development” didn’t you Nigel? Or do you know something that we don’t?
