I CAN no longer use my bank, Barclays in Cirencester Market Place, for almost exactly the same reasons as Diana Ballinger whose letter appeared last week.
Before the new restrictions, I would ask whoever was driving me to stop outside Barclays.
I would put up my invaluable blue badge, go into the bank and withdraw the money in the notes and coins required.
This would take about ten minutes.
Now I am driven to a supermarket and use their ATM.
This provides nearly all £20 notes, one or two tens, no fives.
When I come to repay people, who have shopped for me I can only use a £20 note.
I have nothing smaller, the shopper has no small change as most people use cards.
This is a nuisance.
It could easily be put right if a small area was restricted for blue badge users who mostly just want access for a short time.
