My sincere thanks to all those who came to the meeting on Wednesday, February 22 because of concern about the continuing accidents and lack of safe routes for the disabled in Cirencester.
It was heartening to hear your concerns.
It is hoped to hold another meeting within four or five weeks when you are all invited again to continue under the auspices of Cirencester residents Mr Leigh Chapman, Mr Steve Brook and Mr Oliver Stephens for the purpose of taking the situation forward.
In the meantime it would be useful to take notes of any points of difficulty with pavements and roads in relation to safety of pedestrians and drivers so that constructive suggestions can be made at the next meeting.
And for those who left their contacts you may receive a hello call.
My good wishes to everyone.
Bill Waddell
