THIS, from Mr Patrick Coleman, one of our town councillors, “As you get used to a place you don’t fall over so often. That is what we hope will happen with the Market Place”.
Oh, that’s alright then.
But what about visitors, are they to be advised on entering the town of a potential trip hazard until they “get used” to the pavement change?
If, as CEO Mr Tubb maintains, the kerbs comply with the safety standards, then the design details are not fit for purpose and should be reviewed.
