PARKING is the big problem for Cirencester traders.
My wife has told me that a couple of times she has tried to park in town, but had to come home again and ended up buying on line, although she would have preferred to browse the town shops.
I work in town, and can get an early space, but visitors on business have a real problem finding somewhere to park.
No wonder footfall is down.
More spaces are desperately needed as soon as possible.
I hope planning permission is not held up long. Whichever site is selected, someone will complain.
