LOOKING back over the 2016 half of the current season, I note that whenever Forest Green Rovers produce a poor display, John Light suggested the presence of BT cameras were to blame.
I’m sure a strand of logic must be buried very deeply somewhere in this observation and no doubt other readers with better intelligence than mine will reveal it.
However, to my knowledge, the cameras have been absent throughout the current dip in form so will your ever avuncular sporting columnist offer an equally entertaining explanation please?
I wonder if the Lady Penelope, sadly absent in Mr Light’s column of late, might be able to offer a more informed opinion as it seems that whenever her observations are included the lads do well.
