I ENTIRELY agree with Mr Elliott’s letter in last week’s Standard regarding our Leave MP and his being out of sync with his constituency who voted 51.1 per cent for Remain.
What a strange position.
I am particularly concerned for farmers and agricultural/horticultural organisations who have been very much favoured by subsidies from the EU and other activities and groups in the area that have actually depended on funding or part-funding from the EU in this rural constituency which lacks many services.
Mr Clinton-Brown needs to reflect very carefully on the stance he has taken.
He must do better.
