READER'S LETTER: Rethink scheme
HERE we go again, part of Gosditch Street to be closed for two months at the height of the tourist season.
How much did the town council borrow to finance this scheme?
I believe it was about £1 million?
I cannot find anyone in favour of the scheme.
Yes, the pavements are a disgrace and need replacing but did we need the road narrowing in West Market Place and Castle Street, making it one-way?
Is it too late to reconsider parts of the scheme?
