WHEN it comes to relationships, Christmas can be the straw that breaks the camel’s back.
I know this only too well through my work at Relate Gloucestershire & Swindon, where we support couples, families and individuals with their relationships. January is our busiest time of the year with many people getting in touch with us after relationship issues have bubbled to the surface.
In response to this issue, Relate has launched a new report, Breaking Up is Hard to Do, which calls for a more joined up system for separation support and has been welcomed by government ministers.
While we wait to see if the recommendations are implemented, we’d like to remind anyone whose relationships are under strain that Relate Gloucestershire & Swindon is here for you.
