As Christmas approaches there are thousands of carol singing and Christingle events being organised across the country, including in Gloucestershire, in aid of The Children’s Society.
This year our fundraising campaign will help our specialist projects provide crucial support to children and young people who have been victims of child sexual exploitation.
Thousands of young people are being sexually exploited in communities across the country and the police have identified this as the biggest threat in the UK, apart from terrorism.
Everybody who helps organise or attends a Christingle event will help us support more children and young people who have been victims of this abuse to stay safe and rebuild their lives.
