A warning about biomethane plants
ON a short stay in Malmesbury, a lovely town in an area of outstanding natural beauty, I read the Standard on Thursday, November 26.
Oh dear… Plans for a biomethane plant.
Beware, Malmesbury.
I live in the vicinity of one, it does smell, especially in summer, and nearby homes have dropped in value.
It may be wise to come and check it out.
Talk to near-by residents.
You may well live to regret it.
