I THINK many of us are increasingly aware that Lord Bathurst is keeping well under the radar with regard the growing debate on Cirencester, a town to which he has always shown great love, loyalty and affection.

Are the Bathurst Estate Trustees making all the main decisions about the Chesterton Development with scant regard for our feelings and the impact made by their devastating scheme?

Do they live in Cirencester and do they care what we all think? Should we politely ask why they are so determined to force their scheme through?

Will the Chesterton Development with its 2,350 new homes really be a legacy about which Lord Bathurst can be proud?

It’s time for a little more transparency.
