YOUR front page article in last week’s Standard, “Bus users say ‘joke’ service must change”, was spot on in regard to the Malmesbury to Cirencester service for students but could have included those trying to get to and from jobs and the well-used commuter station at Kemble.
At present it is possible for commuters living in Cirencester and Tetbury to catch trains to work but not those across the ‘border’ in Malmesbury.
This would surely be popular, reduce vehicle use, relieve some of the pressure on the station car park and surrounding streets and actually provide a ‘service’!
