NOW that we have all the money in from the recent Christian Aid Collection in Malmesbury and Charlton, I would be grateful if you could publish this letter to let people know that we raised an incredible sum of £7,659 – more than- over £1,000 more than last year.
The market cross stall raised £1,575, the house-to-house £4,701 and £357 coming from the car wash at the ATC.
Thanks are due to all those who helped in the events, but more especially to the generous people who supported our fundraising.
This money will go to help Christian Aid’s work in 47 countries working with partner organisations who support people of all faiths and of none, where urgent, practical and effective assistance is given to communities providing them with the tools and skills to find their own solutions to poverty.

Chairman of Malmesbury Christian Aid Group
