I HAVE recently been involved with APCOH – Cotswold District Council’s (CDC) parking wing.
Having been issued with a parking ticket at Cotswold Leisure Centre even though a member with a valid parking permit, the latter was disputed.
This forced me to print off a hard copy of said permit and send to APCOH to prove it was active.
After two communications, my challenge was accepted.
However, I was surprised by the phraseology in the reply: “CDC has graciously agreed to the cancellation of the PCN on this occasion." Should I be grateful to CDC’s magnanimous gesture for being legally parked?
I also noted there was no suggestion of an apology.
