IN RESPONSE to Mrs Taylor’s letter relating to VE Day, please could you kindly print the following letter on behalf of the town council
In commemorating the VE Day anniversary, Cirencester Town Council issued a press release and provided information about various events taking place across the nation.
To personally mark the occasion, we invited, and will continue to invite, people to come to Bingham House to leave their thoughts and pay their respects in a message and memory book which will serve as a lasting legacy.
By doing this we want to ensure that the many sacrifices made on our behalf are never forgotten.
