FOOD and drink appreciation is a very personal thing and as a publican of more thanover 20 years' experience, I deal with praise and criticism every day – it’s part of the job.

We are fortunate that we have a well-established business that can weather this negative review, I wonder if the next pub that you review will be as lucky.

If you’re going to continue to run this feature, may I suggest that you employ somebody with at least some industry knowledge. I personally wouldn’t dream of walking into your offices to criticise what you do as I wouldn’t have the first clue about how your industry works.
