CIRENCESTER Town Council has received an open invitation from our German twin town Itzehoe welcoming local people to events this year including the Itzehoe Weinfest on May 30, the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in the summer and to the area’s Christmas Markets during November.
Members of the Partnerschaftsverein (Itzehoe Twinning Association) would also be happy to receive and host guests at any time of the year.
The town council and its counterpart in Itzehoe are very much hoping to strengthen existing friendships in 2015 and to establish new contacts between the citizens, institutions and organisations of the two towns.
