ON FRIDAY, June 20, the only timetable outside the parish church stated the times of buses running from June 23. However, the 59 bus ran according to the previous timetable. Buses on Saturday, June 21, also ran according to the previous timetable.

Timetables are much sought after for the current Stagecoach bus routes: 51/51X Swindon, Cricklade, Cirencester, Cheltenham; 53 Swindon, Purton, Cricklade; 58 and 59 Stratton, Chesterton. They are as hard to find as gold dust. Surely Stagecoach is its own worst enemy.

Information about the new routes seems obviously needed before the new timetables came into use.
