PLEASE convey my thanks to the passers-by who lifted me up when I fell in the street in Watermoor during the evening of Thursday, March 13.
I was picking up supper after a gruelling hospital procedure and was grateful for these kind people who stayed with me and my daughter to ensure we were alright and to the staff at the Zen Chinese takeaway who insisted on replacing the meal that fell on the ground when I did.
My thanks also to Dave, the volunteer driver who ferried me to and from the hospital earlier, without which it could have been much worse, and for the friends that looked after my daughter at the last minute as they and others have done in the past.
I am a little bruised but otherwise alright. I am not sure how I would have managed without your assistance.
