I READ with interest your article in the Standard regarding the 75-acre solar farm near Ampney Crucis. (Solar farm will be able to power thousands of homes, Standard, February 27).
My first point is that if Cllr Dent chooses to drop his ‘h’’s then at least should someone not apostrophise the ‘s’ in paragraph 12 to ensure that all children reading this article are able to understand what the Cllr was trying to say and realise the importance of good grammar and vocabulary.
Thirdly, paragraph 13... I can only presume that the Cllr is admitting that most people in the village came with multiple complaints?
And finally point D; what village? Surely the farm is closer to Barnsley, Ready Token, Quenington and Sheepscombe Lane.
You would be wrong in thinking that I am opposed to such schemes in any way and am, in fact, a staunch supporter of alternative energy.
I do, however, object to bad communication.
