WE WOULD like to thank Mrs Larner for voicing her concerns about the noise and behaviour from the Eight Bells, East End, Fairford. (Critics claim pub’s a noise nuisance, Standard, January 30) We have written three times to Arkells Brewery about the same and have had contact with the police over same.
Because of the fear of reprisals from some of the customers of the Eight Bells, we will not sign this letter.
Weekends we clean up bottles, glasses, tins and broken glass.
There are many OAPs living in this area.
We have double glazing but we can still hear the music.
