A 4X4 VEHICLE, a telescope, power tools, gas cylinders and bottles of vodka were all stolen from the Malmesbury area last week.

Burglars cut a hole in the side of a barn in Brinkworth, gained access then stole power tools. The break-in occurred at about 10pm on October 20.

A shoplifter who stole bottles of vodka from a supermarket in Malmesbury at 6.30pm on October 21 was caught on CCTV. The footage is currently being viewed in a bid to identify the suspect.

Calor gas cylinders were stolen from the Kemble business park sometime overnight between October 21 and October 22.

Officers attended a reported public order offence in Oaksey between two females who are known to each other at 10.15pm on October 22.

A Mitsubishi 4X4 was stolen from Lea on October 23 at sometime between 11pm and 11.30pm. The vehicle was later found abandoned near the scene of a theft in the Cirencester area.

Burglars broke into a house in Ashton Keynes by forcing open a rear dining room window. It is currently unknown what was stolen. The raid was reported on October 23 but could have been committed as far back as October 17.

Thieves stole a 40kg, blue, Sky watcher 150 telescope on a tripod from an unlocked shed in Hankerton. The break-in occurred sometime between October 4 and October 25.
