CIRENCESTER Ramblers have celebrated their 40th anniversary with a long walk through Cirencester Park and tea with Earl Bathurst.
The group of ramblers enjoyed a guided walk around the park with Lord Bathurst explaining the significance of landmarks and follies along the way.
During the route they also encountered a match at Cirencester Polo Club and the National Carriage Driving Championships.
Organiser Pat Beckley said: “They were really hospitable and we want to thank them for showing us around the park.”
