THE launch of the newly built Coln Valley Village Hall in Calcot near Chedworth could be taking place this August. The village hall committee has been successful in obtaining £2,500 from the Summerfield Trust to help fit out the kitchen and has also applied to the Lottery Fund to help create disabled access to the building. Everyone in the Valley is invited to the launch party and a date has yet to be set. The building still needs to be decorated and have a water supply fitted.
