THE Institute of Advanced Motorists is offering online tips on how to drive in snow and ice.
Drivers are advised to make sure they are at the correct speed, set off in second gear and slow down before descending hills.
The website drivingadvice.org.uk also gives information on what to do if you get stuck or break down.
