STUDENTS from Cirencester Kingshill and Deer Park schools with one eye on their future should visit the schools' Careers Convention tonight at Kingshill School.
The Wilts and Glos Standard is supporting this event and would-be news hounds can visit our stand to learn from journalists what qualifications and skills are needed to make the grade in a busy news room.
This year 55 organisations ranging from local businesses to multinational companies and universities will be exhibiting.
These include Gloucestershire Constabulary, Bath Spa University, Cirencester College, GCHQ, National Westminster Bank, Renishaw plc, JJ's Hairdressing, University of Oxford and the Academy of Music and Sound.
The joint venture is tonight (Tuesday, October 16) from 6-8pm at Cirencester Kingshill School and is open to pupils from both schools in Years 8,9,10 and 11 and their parents.
