Trojan horse leads Swell pupils through their history play

STUDENTS at Swell Primary School mixed history with rock when they put on their summer play Troy Story at the end of last term.
Parents, family, friends and villagers filled Naunton Village Hall for a rock-pop romp through Ancient Greece, as Achilles led a legion of heroes to rescue Helen of Troy from the wicked clutches of Paris and the Trojans.
Every child in the school had a part in the production from the four-year-olds up, with pupils particularly enjoying making the props and especially their large Trojan horse.
