CIRENCESTER Kingshill catering students teamed up with Cirencester Housing Society to design a new recipe to inspire the general public to get cooking.
Recipes were submitted for trialling and student Daisy Giles was announced the winner with her citrus crumble squares.
The recipe will form part of a collection to be used in Cirencester Housing Society's annual report as part of a recipe card calendar. Staff will also be making the citrus crumble squares and selling them at their Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday, September 28 at the Cirencester Housing Society offices.
Jade Fair, catering teacher at Kingshill, said: "Daisy is a credit to the food department and to Kingshill. She has worked incredibly hard this year and deserves to win. Well done Daisy."
