Sapperton pupils get into the Olympic spirit

PUPILS at Sapperton Primary School took advantage of one of the few dry days to take part in their annual sports day.
The Olympic-themed watched by parents included a torch procession as well as a medal ceremony for the winning country team.
Pupils all took part in the Olympic relay race, which included running, jumping and throwing skills, as well as the more traditional races.
The school’s Friends committee was on hand with drinks and ice-creams.
