Student at Northleach school is headteacher for a day

ONE Nothleach school pupil swapped her own school desk for the headteacher’s office when she became head for a day.

Rosie Ellison, 9, took over duties from headteacher Deb Harris, including correspondence, carrying out safety checks and leading the whole school assembly.

Rosie’s parents bought this as a treat for her as part of a promises auction held by the School Association Children who had done especially good work today brought their work to Rosie who gave them a special sticker for doing so well.

Rosie said: “Today was the best day I've ever had in school. I got a break as well and was still able to have a swim with my friends."
