SCHOOLCHILDREN from a South Cerney primary school have left heartfelt messages to their former headmaster who died last month on a special remembrance tree.
Every child at Ann Edwards C of E Primary School in South Cerney has decorated a leaf on the memory tree and written a tribute message or described a memory about former headteacher, Stephen Richardson.
Mr Richardson had been in charge of Ann Edwards C of E Primary School on Berkley close since 2003 and was described as an inspirational head teacher.
The school held memorial ceremonies earlier this month at which the children shared memories of him and celebrated their time with him at Ann Edwards.
The services for both younger pupils and for Years 3 to 6, were held at All Hallows Church in the village.
