TALENTED Cirencester Kingshill students wowed the audience at the school’s annual Children In Need Talent Show with a variety of acts. Some 50 students made it through to this year’s final, which raised an impressive £1,700 for the Children In Need charity.
Judges voted band members Bertie Livingstone, Dan Shrigley, Sam Hill and Pete Blunden overall winners on the night for their original song 'We Were Meant to Be'. Second place went to Beatrice Kinsey and Matthew Isles for their Beatles medley and third place went to Frankie Rae for her solo dance to Skinny Love by Birdie.
Best Year 7 and 8 Act went to Charlie Hill, Craig Poole, Millie Stevens and Phillipa Bennett for their A Cappella musical mash-Up. Finally, most original act went to Will Tipping and Jake Wilkins with TV star Ice the dog. Jake and his dog Ice recently won the BBC dog training competition Who Let the Dogs Out.
