Flood warning for Malmesbury area

The Environment Agency has issued an amber flood warning for the Avon around Malmesbury following forecasts of persistent rain at the weekend.
According to the agency’s website: "River levels on the Tetbury Avon at Brokenborough, Sherston Avon at Fosseway, River Avon at Great Somerford and Dauntsey Brook at Dauntsey are stable but are expected to rise in response."
Rain is expected today and Saturday night into Sunday.
