Christian Aid week took place this year from May 13 to May 19, raising £7,294 for Malmesbury Christian Aid, a National Church-led campaign raising money for overseas aid.

In Malmesbury, it spreads over more than a week with so many events to fit in, with a soup lunch and a coffee morning taking place in April and Early May.

There was also a Christian Aid Service on Wednesday May 9, to encourage the helpers.

A car wash started off the week, with house-to-house collections taking place throughout, with the helpers managing to deliver Christian Aid envelopes to almost every house in Malmesbury,

Finishing off the week they held their traditional Market Cross Stall, an event they have done for over 30 years, alongside a street collection.
